1981 “Tondonia” - very interesting for a white. Animal, barnyard, resin, lemon rind. silky interesting. acidic. AM92
2004 Conde de Valdemar Reserva - vanilla black fruits, young style, acidic though better with food am90-91
2005 Pujanza - 100% tempranillo nice animal component, slightly barnyard tannic barnyard fading with red fruits am92-93
2005 contino graciano rioja - 100% graciano coffee, chocolate, kirsh, spice, minerality. very nice closing in glass, fading. one to drink young? am93-94
2004 bodegas riojanas gran albina - tempranillo, graciano, too funky barnyard, plush on palate. i wonder how this will develop, but to me its out of balanced now. coming back to it, it is becoming more balanced. raising my score. am93
2006 marques de riscal finca torrea - interesting, somewhat green, pepper. cherry. sweet on the palate low acid am91
2007 b de basilio - very interesting leathery, some cherry, smoke, some pepper with air. plush and sweet on palate. long finish some acid. soft tannins modern and traditional at the same time. am93-94+?
1998 CVNE imperial gran reserva - barnyard but nice. balanced with air. am92
1978 muga prado enea - brown color barnyard silky though a bit pinched on finish am92
1948,50,52 blend brought by basilio - Basilio says they stored wines with too much ullage which they couldn’t sell. brown barnyard resin help up amazingly well. silky and velvety. i prefer younger wines, but this is really impressive. am93
