Blend of Sangiovese and Merlot from Umbria.  Tobacco, truffle, and earth on the nose.  With air, vegetative aromas come through with green pepper, zucchini.  This is laced with a bit of animal funk. Interesting, but it doesn’t quite come together. On the palate, unfortunately, it comes off as flat and lifeless.  This was disappointing given Galoni’s review.
