Beautiful nebbiolo bouquet of tar, rose, cherry and truffles.  Nice acidity to complement the food.  I had this wine (different vintages) when it was too old, and too young, so it was nice to have it at a nice age, where the components were nicely balanced.  We all really enjoyed it.  A great deal at $30!
