The Logical fOundations of Rational Interaction (LORI) Group was formed in January 2009 as a joint effort between the Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa, the University of Florence and the University of Siena. LORI is an interdisciplinary research group whose members specialize in various areas of logic, mathematics and philosophy.

Our research focuses on the logico-mathematical foundation of reasoning under uncertainty, rational decision making and rational interaction.
